Dr. Tinah Tan, Medical Director

After graduating from Medical faculty at Atmajaya Catholic University with high distinction academic Achievement in 1996, Dr. Tinah Continued her studies in Melbourne - Australia where she studied Chiropractic Science at RMIT University in Melbourne, graduating with double degree, Bachelor of applied Science and Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 1999. She also received Golden Key Honor Society member for being top 1% student in the university on 1998.
She is currently undertaking a Post Graduate diploma in Chiropractic Pediatrics with the University of Wales, United Kingdom.

Dr. Tinah extensively participated in continuing Chiropractic education seminars, mainly in Australia, including:
Gonstead Technique , Dynamic Growth, Activator Method,SOT ( Sacro-Occipital Technique), Pediatric Chiropractic, Pediatric Chiropractic Neurology, Lower Limb Biomechanics ICB, Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) and many others.

She is starting her chiropractic professional work at the Southern Chiropractic Clinic, Moorabbin, Victoria, Australia since 1998 until 2000. And she also is working with other institution in Australia until 2001.

Dr. Tinah establishes regular chiropractic care for Indonesian Society in 2001 with help from family and friends as the first female Indonesian Chiropractor. Then later on becoming Citylife Chiropractic clinic in 2004 that are establish by Mr. Daud Pranoto (Dr. Tinah’s Husband) .

At present Dr Tinah is Vice President in PERCHIRINDO (Indonesian Chiropractic Registration and Association) since 2005.

She also as resource person for Indonesian Health magazines and News papers such as Kompas, Nirmala, intisari, Femina, Prodo, Matra, info Gading, Family Gading.

She contribute workshop and formal presentation in the Indonesian Health Department, Jakarta and Participates in Health education in several Schools by conducting spinal examination for the youth and promoting a healthy lifestyle among women groups, and in public places and health exhibitions.

She also developed the curriculum for the Chiropractic Assistant Training program presented under the auspices of PERCHIRINDO.

The last but not least, Dr. Tinah also have a substantial influences on the First Chiropractic Course Curriculum who are working closely together with Prof. Andries M Kleynhans OAM, B.sc, DC, DTE, M Ed, FICC, FACC to contribute as the beneficial to Indonesian community and to provide the high qualified professional Chiropractor in Indonesia in near future.

DC degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Whittier, CA.
Completed the clinical internship program at The Glendale Chiropractic Clinic. Clinical rotations to various centers such as CSUN Rehabilitation at Northridge, Hubka Workers Comp. and PI clinic, Senior citizen centers around the area, Cal. State student’s Health center.
Modalities: Electrical stimulation, ultrasound, diathermy, traction.
